Sixth Annual Maine Book Festival

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jackie Cawley, founder of DeleanInstitute.com, will be a featured author at the Sixth Annual Maine Book Festival! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Dr. Cawley in person, discuss her insights, and get your copy of her impactful book, ‘Power UP’, signed.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 23rd, 2025
• Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM EDT (The festival officially opens at 10:00 AM, but author activities, including Dr. Cawley’s signing, run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.)
• Location: Thomaston Public Library, Thomaston, Maine
  • The library is conveniently located just down the street from the festival office and directly on Route 1 in downtown Thomaston. This new, expanded location offers plenty of parking and highly visible grassy space right on the main route.

What to Expect at Dr. Cawley’s Booth:

Dr. Cawley will have a dedicated table space where she will be signing and selling copies of her book, ‘Power UP’. This is your chance to engage directly with the author, ask questions, and secure a personalized copy of her work.

About the 6th Annual Maine Book Festival:

Due to its rising popularity over the last four years, the Maine Authors Book Festival is expanding and evolving into the Maine Book Festival! The Thomaston Public Library has generously offered the use of their building and grounds for this year’s festival, ensuring more room for authors, more attendees, and improved accessibility.

The festival organizers are heavily publicizing this event around the state, including large banners on Route 1, advertisements in prominent publications like the Portland Press Herald, Portland Monthly Magazine, The Free Press, the St. George Business Alliance Visitor’s Guide, and The Wave (Penobscot Bay Pilot magazine), as well as promotion on community event calendars and social media.

Beyond book sales and author signings, the festival promises a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of attractions for all attendees:

Support the Community:

All sales at the Maine Book Festival will be processed through the festival organizers. A portion of the proceeds (20%) will be donated directly to the Thomaston Public Library, and 5% of sales will go towards funding the event itself. Authors, including Dr. Cawley, will receive 75% of their book sales. Your purchase not only supports Dr. Cawley but also contributes to the local library and the continuation of this wonderful literary event.
